Working with Incarcerated Survivors with DisabilitiesJune 3, 2019 0 comments
People with disabilities are drastically overrepresented in U.S. prisons and jails. Often perceived as vulnerable, these people face a heightened risk of sexual victimization while incarcerated. This webinar provides advocates with information around how a disability can put an individual at risk for being sexually victimized, and assists advocates in developing their advocacy skills and resources to provide timely crisis services to incarcerated survivors with disabilities.
