violence. This web conference will feature a community expert, Shayla Ashmoore, Child Therapist at Lassen Family Services and member of the faith pilot program in Susanville, California.
Guided by her experience and insights from working in a rural community, Shayla Ashmoore will share how she helped spark innovative faith-based work in a prison town through collaboration.
This web conference will:
  • Discuss the prevalence of Sexual Assault in Rural Areas
  • Highlight partnerships between community-based agency and the Prison and Faith-based System
  • Model collaboration to access resources
