As a membership association, CALCASA is in constant communication with its members throughout California. The agency relies on the membership for new ideas, suggestions and concerns regarding the needs of sexual assault survivors and/or the delivery of services to survivors. To help facilitate the exchange of such information, CALCASA coordinates regular membership meetings. These meetings are organized on the basis of geography or a special population.
There are six regions: North, South, Bay, Central Coast, Mid-Coast and Valley.
There are also three primary groups or “caucuses:” women of color (WOC); lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities (LGTBQ); and persons with disabilities.
If you are interested in attending a membership meeting, please contact the CALCASA representative assigned to your region.
