At the Frontline of Treatment and Policy for Individuals who Sexually Offend
This workshop will look at how we can utilize the voice, experience and challenges of working with people who have committed sexual abuse to better understand and prevent sexual abuse. The session will encourage the participants to think about how we capture and use the service user voice (i.e., the person who has committing sexual harm) in practice, how this allows us to (re)frame the narrative

Family (Re)integration after Sexual Abuse: Assessing Risk and Maximizing Strengths
Presenters will briefly review common practices and research relevant to making the decision to (re)integrate familes after sexual abuse. The majority of this interactive workshop will focus on having session attendees work through specific case scenarios to explore and understand their own attitudes and potential biases that may influence their decision making about whether contact with a child should or should not occur.
